The Gallery D137 of Contemporary Art was founded in 1996 in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Besides exhibitions of art, the gallery also hosts actions, conferences on contemporary art and culture, and creative meetings with national and international cultural figureheads. Besides its close collaborations with such institutions as the State Russian Museum, the Goethe Institute, the General Consulate of the Federal Republic of Germany and the General Consulate of the United States of America, the Gallery D137 has also contributed to the Art Manege 2000 All-Russian Art Fair, the Art Moscow 2002 International Art Forum, the Art Forum Berlin 2002 and the Art Moscow 2003 International Art Forum .
